Charles Blackman
Charles Blackman (12 August 1928 – 20 August 2018) was one of the most important living artists from post-WWII. Blackman displayed a talent for depicting events from his subjects’ point of view, often creating compositions with odd angles, washed-out colours, and isolated environments. His exploration of the magical world of Alice in Wonderland led to some of his most bold, beautiful and iconic works and we are privileged to have worked with him on expanding the story of a selection of these works.
