Melbourne Art Fair Foundation is delighted to announce that two Australian artists have been selected for the Melbourne Art Fair 2008 Artist Commissions: David Griggs and Peter Hennessey.

In 2008 Melbourne Art Fair Foundation commissioned two prominent Australian artists to create large-scale works for Melbourne Art Fair. David Griggs’ Frog boy’s dissertation into a new karaoke cult, a full size circus tent was gifted to Queensland Art Gallery, and Peter Hennessey’s My Humvee (inversion therapy), a 6 metre high upturned recreation of the military vehicle, was gifted to The University of Queensland Art Museum.
